SIBTEL participates to the “SISE’2006”
Under the High Patronage of His Excellency Zine El Abedine Ben Ali, President of the Republic, the second edition of the International Show of Exports Services in Africa (SISE’2006), was held on June 8 and 9, 2006 at the Kram Exhibition Hall.
This Show is organized by CEPEX, under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce and Handicrafts, in collaboration with UTICA.
Well aware of the opportunities for exporting the Tunisian E-Clearing System and with the strength of the expertise acquired in running E-Clearing business, SIBTEL has insisted on its participation to the SISE’2006. SIBTEL run its own stand where its experts relayed to answer the inquiries of numerous visitors.

SIBTEL participates to the “Administration, Enterprise and the New Economy” Symposium
On 26 and 27 May last and under the High Patronage of his Excellency the President of the Republic, The Social Club of the former students of the second cycle of the National Institute of Administration organized a Symposium in partnership of the “Expert Review” in a Hotel at Yasmine Hammamet Resort. This event was organized by the Social Club in celebration of its 31st anniversary. The theme was “Administration, Enterprise and the New Economy”
The official opening of the Symposium was made by Mr. Zouhair M’DHAFFAR, Minister delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of Civil Service and Administrative Development, with the noticed presence of Mr. Taoufik BACCAR, Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia and President of the Social Club of the former students of the second cycle of the National Institute of Administration, of Mr. Khelil LAJIMI the Secretary of State to the Minister of Development and International Cooperation, in charge of International Cooperation and Foreign Investment, of Mrs. Khedija GHARIANI, Secretary of State to the Minister of Communication Technologies, in charge of Computer Sciences, Internet and free Software as well as the presence of many other notorious people. Their presence is a testimony for the importance given to the information and communication technologies as an important actor in the service of the development of the national economy and a tool aiming at improving the quality of the administration services.
When requested to bring in his contribution, Mr. Abdelkrim GDOUDA, Director General of SIBTEL, has participated to the works of the 27 May, when he led the discussions of the workshop entitled “TIC: Aiming at achieving interaction in celerity and efficiency”.

WSIS : SIBTEL fully ready for this very important appointment!
The WSIS (World Summit on the Information Society) , is held in Tunis from 16 to 18 November.
Being chosen within the frame work of the private and public sectors partnership, as it is the case for 9 more Tunisian companies, SIBTEL has prepared everything with the smallest detail and is looking for this exceptional opportunity to make itself more known and actively participate at the development of the Tunisian ISS sector.

In the Tunisian Pavilion, the stand of SIBTEL drew the attention of many visitors. Mr.Moez BOUNATIROU and Mr. Tijani METHAMEM, the two experts delegated by SIBTEL, made their best efforts to assist and give all relevant information to the many visitors of the stand, using a multimedia support to expose the Tunisian electronic clearing system. Among the distinguished visitors of the SIBTEL stand, we saw Mr. Mondher Zenaidi, Tunisian Minister for Commerce and Industry, A high ranked Delegation from the Rumanian Ministry of Education and also a lot of interest expressed by companies from the private sector.

Nomination of a new Managing Director at SIBTEL
Today, The Board of Directors of SIBTEL has decided the nomination of Mr Abdelkrim GDOUDA, as the new Managing Director of the institution.
Starting today, Mr GDOUDA, previously General Manager and “Chargé de Mission” of computerization to the Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia , is in detachment in his new functions, in replacement of Mr Ali KHIRI, who has been appointed for other functions at the Central Bank of Tunisia.
In fact, Mr GDOUDA becomes the second General Director occupying this post since the creation of the SIBTEL in 1999.
During most of his career, Mr GDOUDA has held managing posts for the Central Bank both in Tunisia and abroad.
Appreciated for his professional behaviour by his counterparts, he is bringing to SIBTEL his wide experience of banking technologies and also his valuable appreciation of the big international challenges.
His experience in and out Tunisia, will be very useful at the time when SIBTEL is getting ready to face with its partners important challenges for the future of new technologies.
